Origin is building the World's First General Purpose Construction Robot that automate interior finishing trades like drywall finishing, painting and more on real job sites. Construction is a $2T+ industry facing labor shortages, rising costs, and stagnant productivity. While manufacturing, logistics, and automotive have embraced automation, construction remains largely manual. Origin is developing the world’s first general-purpose construction robot — an AI-powered robotic system designed to work alongside human crews and operate power tools across multiple trades. Our robots are already deployed on live job sites in New York City in partnership with leading General Contractors and Trade Contractors. We are on a multi-decade mission to build intelligent robotic systems that enable scalable, high-quality, and cost-efficient construction. you are a contractor exploring construction automation, or an engineer passionate about robotics, AI, controls systems, and real-world autonomy — we’d love to connect.
