Led Odoo ERP Rollout, Cutting Order Time 40%

At Innovative Power Solutions, the post-sale delivery team relied on manual spreadsheets and email to track inventory and orders, causing frequent delays and making accurate financial reporting or multi-location stock visibility nearly impossible. I was tasked with leading the end-to-end Odoo ERP rollout for the delivery team, taking full responsibility for mapping existing workflows, configuring inventory and financial modules, and training staff, all within a tight 3-month window. I began by shadowing the delivery team for two weeks to fully understand their existing processes before configuring Odoo's inventory module to accurately mirror their multi-location setup. To ensure adoption, I ran three dedicated training sessions and built quick-reference guides for staff. Along the way, I identified and resolved a critical data migration issue where historical order records weren't mapping cleanly into the new system, preventing what could have been a major setback to the launch timeline. The results were significant and immediate: within the first month of going live, order processing time dropped by 40%, and inventory discrepancies that had previously occurred weekly were reduced to almost zero. This gave the finance team the ability to pull accurate stock reports on demand, eliminating the manual reconciliation that had plagued reporting before the rollout. The project transformed a fragmented, error-prone manual process into a streamlined, reliable operational system.
