Converted 10 HPMKT Designer Contacts Into 8 Trade Accounts

I attended HPMKT in High Point, NC, with the goal of growing Momeni's base of interior designer trade accounts. Over the course of the show I met and connected with 10 different interior designers, talking through our rug collections and lines in detail, including over drinks in more relaxed settings where I could really get to know what each designer was looking for. After the show I followed up individually with each designer, sending them samples of our rugs so they could see and feel the quality firsthand rather than relying on a catalog page. That extra step of getting product into their hands made it easy for them to picture the rugs in their own projects and gave me a reason to keep the conversation going. Of the 10 designers I met, 8 have become regular trade accounts that order from me on a monthly basis. Combined, those accounts generated over $10,000 in sales this past month alone, and they continue to be an active, recurring part of my book of business.
