Evident, now a part of Xpansiv, is the world leader in certification of the Clean Economy and provider of the world's most widely used registry of environmental assets, serving customers in over 140 countries. Evident manages the I-REC certificate service for electricity and the MiQ certificate service for natural gas. Working with partners such as energy network operators, national standards authorities, and governments, Evident is a globally trusted partner delivering robust evidence verification and tracking for corporate and consumer environmental claims. Evident's certification services meet the strict requirements for Scope 2 reporting under the Greenhouse Gas Protocol and claims under the RE100 commitment that had been adopted by many of the world's largest corporations. Evident is accredited to the International Attribute Tracking Standard, a not for profit initiative developed to address requirements for a robust mechanism through which energy products from sustainable sources can be certified through the supply chain. Evident provides a robust tracking system for energy products which: * Captures sustainability information in an objective, evidence-based, and reliable manner. The guarantee of origin acts as the carrier of that information from the point of entry into the energy market. * Complies with an internationally accepted set of rules to manage national and international trade between parties. * Attracts producers, traders, suppliers, and consumers of energy to become members of the I-REC Community in order to actively participate in the market. * Stimulates the exchange of knowhow and views on markets between participants from different countries through regular meetings and networking sessions. As the world-leader, Evident sets the benchmark for tradeable environmental assets. Please contact us to find out how we can help in your mission to NetZero and beyond.
