As owner and Head Diva, I help clients manage all aspects of their job search journey, ensuring a more productive and rewarding search. I work with people from all industries and all stages in their careers to write their resumes, strengthen their Linkedin profiles, craft compelling cover letters, develop job search strategies, networking skills and interview coaching and preparation. I was honored to speak at SXSW 2017 & 2018, presenting the talks "You've Just Been Laid Off. Now What?" and "Conquering Your Job Search Journey." I also lead classes and presentations on critical job search topics including "Creating a Stand Out Resume," "Using Linkedin for Your Job Search" and "Get Ready for Your Next Job Interview" in the Greater Boston Area. Check out my website at: jobsearchdivas.com.
I founded Job Search Divas in 2017 to address a problem that exists among job seekers: many people find the job search process daunting and lack the guidance to navigate it effectively. I recognized that job seekers needed more than just tactical support—they needed someone to help them tell their professional stories in a way that resonates with target audiences and potential employers, while providing direction and reducing the intimidation factor throughout each step of the search process. To launch the business, I began by defining my core service offerings and establishing a timeline for a soft launch. I implemented a multi-channel grassroots marketing strategy that included reaching out to my personal network, distributing flyers in coffee shops, libraries, and supermarkets throughout my local area, and placing advertisements on Craigslist across different regions. I attended every networking and professional services event I could access to build visibility. My first clients came from my existing network, and once I completed their projects, I leveraged their testimonials to establish credibility. I also built a website in preparation for attending a Boston-area PR showcase, which helped professionalize the brand and expand my reach. Since launching in 2017, Job Search Divas has grown to serve over 750 clients, with 95% of current business now coming through referrals—a testament to the quality and impact of the work. I've expanded beyond one-on-one client services to include group workshops and speaking engagements, scaling the business while maintaining the personalized, supportive approach that makes job searches more productive and less overwhelming for people navigating career transitions.
