Priage had a working prototype but lacked real-world validation ahead of a critical fall demo day. As Business Development Specialist, I was tasked with securing 3-5 clinic partnerships to pilot the tool and collect structured feedback from ER staff, giving the team credible proof points to present to investors.
I built the outreach pipeline from scratch: researching local ERs and urgent care clinics, cold-emailing and calling office managers, and following up with tailored overviews of Priage's value proposition that spoke directly to each clinic's pain points around triage delays. This targeted, research-driven approach helped convert cold outreach into genuine interest from decision-makers at multiple clinics and hospitals.
The effort generated real momentum: several hospitals and clinics engaged as pilot partners, providing structured feedback that directly shaped two feature changes before demo day, and one clinic director agreed to publicly advocate for Priage to investors. Most notably, feedback from these partners led us to simplify Priage's intake form from 12 fields down to 5, cutting average triage input time by 30% — a concrete, quantifiable improvement that strengthened both the product and our pitch to investors.
