At Boomband, I pushed our product beyond the traditional resume format toward what we call a "dossier" — a richer, more dynamic way of representing a candidate than a static document allows. The goal was to give both candidates and employers a better tool for matching than a PDF resume can offer.
I worked across UI/UX, design, and the underlying embeddings that power matching to bring this concept to life. That meant thinking through how a dossier should look and feel for users, while also shaping the technical approach to how candidate data gets represented and compared under the hood.
This work is ongoing, but it has already reframed how we think about the core product experience at Boomband, treating candidate representation as a design and data problem rather than just a document format.
