In the short period of time I've been working with Nelson, I've learned more about building products and companies than the previous 5 years of working in startups. It's hard to overstate how impactful Nelson's focus, taste, and attention to detail have been, not only to me, but our team and Trove overall. He has an uncanny ability to propose ideas for the company which solve multiple, orthogonal business needs at once. This is compounded by his ability to communicate so clearly about those ideas, and demonstrate how they unfold naturally from the challenges the company is facing at the given moment, and direct us towards being a more fundamentally sound business. Plus he's got good taste in sci-fi.
