At Liftoff, I served as the key relationship manager for Uber, one of our largest and most strategic customers. Starting in 2015, I managed the account as it expanded well beyond its original footprint, eventually growing into a $5M+ enterprise relationship that at one point became our single biggest customer.
Managing a customer of this scale meant coordinating across regions and internal teams at the same time. I worked directly with product and engineering to make sure Uber's needs were reflected in what we built, ran regular QBRs to keep the relationship aligned on goals and performance, and handled escalations as they came up so issues didn't stall momentum. As the account grew, my role expanded with it, covering the relationship across the Americas, EMEA, LATAM, and APAC.
Over the roughly four years I managed the relationship, Uber grew from a standard account into a $5M+ global partnership and, for a period, our largest customer overall. That growth came from staying close to the account across every region it operated in and making sure internal teams stayed responsive to what a customer of that size needed.
